A native of Jamaica who has been living in Canada for over 30 years. She is a mother of two beautiful children, Kiah and son Zion, a son-in-law named Mikee, and two granddaughters named Mia and Aliya. Michelle devotes her heart and time to nurturing the spiritual life of families as a psychotherapist. She has served in children’s ministry for over 16 years and is excited about teaching others about Jesus Christ and how to cultivate their relationship with Him through prayer and evangelism.
Michelle is a highly contagious person, an engaging and seasoned communicator who loves kids and is creative, organized, and fun. She has a passion for working with children and is known for her creativity, organizational skills, and ability to make learning fun. Currently, she serves as the Program Director at a prominent not-for-profit organization in Vancouver, Canada. Michelle holds a Doctorate in Philosophy of Counseling, which reflects her dedication to helping others grow in their personal and spiritual lives.

MISSION STATEMENT
My purpose is to inspire others to greatness; living out their better self, through life coaches, mentorship and accountability, counseling, one-to-one, leveraging social media, writing and providing material, speaking engagements, and seminars.
Born to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, fulfilling the great commission as expressed in Matthew 18:18-20, NKJV:
18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19 “Again[a] I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
Provide healing and deliverance, freedom from brokenness and bondage, addictions, trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Bring light in the darkness, being empowered by the Holy Spirit; Using Psychology and the Word of God, the Holy Bible as a guide, but understanding full healing and freedom comes in and through Jesus Christ.
Who? To provide care to individuals in high-conflict relationships, couples are tired of fighting each other; premarital counseling, parents, women, Men, children, and adolescents.
What? Parenting techniques and guidance; Deep rooted, suicidal ideations, insecurity, Self-esteem issues, Gender, spirituality, Anxiety, Depression, Motivational
When? Contracts are set for a minimum of 3 months to 6 months every week of 1 hour per session. Open to evenings and weekends. A free 15-minute consultation will be provided to determine the extent of care.
Where?.. Sessions are provided virtually or in the community if local, in nature, and setting of choice.
Why? . . . I would like to see individuals live up to their fullest potential; Experience personal growth; living their lives to maximize all potential despite whatever adversity and limitation they may be facing.
How?.. Treatment interventions used are various forms of psychoanalysis and modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT), Attitude-Focused Therapy, Compassion, Mindfulness-Based, Spiritual Guidance (Christianity), Inner Healing Prayer in “Spirit Filled” Christianity. Meditation & Reflection, Emotional Regulation; Solution Focused.
The Jamaican Woman at the Well
For those of you who do not believe in the power of God and to those who have ever questioned His grace, love, or existence, I hope my story, a 'God Story', will be an inspiration and blessing to you. It will show you just how REAL, good and merciful God is. I want you to ponder over these pages and envision them as your own story as well as looking deeply at your own life and believe, "Is there really anything at all too big for God"? Search your heart, reflect on your life, all of your fears, concerns, joys, frustrations, anxieties, doubts, worries, mistakes, decisions, family, friends, co-workers and even ministry. My desire is that as you see the wonders of God throughout these pages, you will consider Him in your life and know that you are truly loved by Him.
Reading through the pages of this book, I found myself stirred, provoked, challenged & inspired. Michelle has been able to describe succinctly the challenges that people go through but choose to remain silent about. Her openness in sharing her trials with hon-esty will cause us to come out of our caves and get real be-fore The Lord of our lives who's still in the business of transitioning lives. I assure you that you will greatly profit by flipping through the pages of this book.
